had a nice little kayak trip the saturday morning of labor day this year. decided to take the boats down to the irondeq. bay and head south towards ellison.
jenna (now 4) really wanted to hit some waves and since they took the weir down we decided to turn around and head out into the bay as well.
we saw all kinds of wildlife, including the bald eagle that's staying in the area, but didn't have the point and shoot out when that mamoth bird came soaring out from behind the tree line.. but it was cool even without documentation :)
one of these days i'm going to bring an slr on the kayak, i swear! until then, the crappy old point and shoots has a use
